French citizens can apply for a Thai tourist visa for a trip for more than 30 days. A visa waiver only allows travelers to cross the Thai border twice a year.

If you have to travel to Thailand more than twice during the year, it is advisable to obtain a travel visa.

The new electronic Thai eVisa will allow travelers to apply for a travel visa to Thailand without visiting an embassy.
