UK citizens wishing to travel for more than 30 days must apply for a Thai tourist visa. UK passport holders who wish to enter Thailand for less than 30 days can do so without applying for the electronic visa.

However, the visa waiver only allows travelers to enter through a land border twice per calendar year.

The Thai tourist visa allows British travelers to stay in Thailand for a period of no more than 60 days.

British citizens visiting Thailand can also apply for an electronic visa upon arrival.
